Pugach's Blood is a composition for soprano solo, male chorus, oboe solo, and piano, inspired by the poetry of Ilya Ehrenburg, written and performed in 1974.

    Sonata for Piano solo no.1 was composed in 1982 and revised and edited in 1999. The first two movements are composed entirely using the interval of a second, which presented certain compositional challenges.
